Services
COMMUNITY FACILITIES Jerome has two
museums, several art galleries, three parks, a library, an Archives Research
Center and a visitor center. There are two meeting facilities. The largest,
Lawrence Memorial "Spook" Hall, seats 350 people. Contact the Jerome
Historical Society for more information about renting Spook Hall.
GOVERNMENTAL The Town of Jerome is
governed by a mayor and four council members. Town Council meets the second
Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at Town Hall. The Planning and Zoning and
Design Review Boards have seven members as does the Board of Adjustments. All
volunteer their time and expertise to the town.
PROTECTIVE
SERVICES There is the Jerome Police Department which provides 24/7
response within the Town of Jerome and the Jerome
Volunteer Fire Department with 25 volunteer firefighters is one of the best
in the area.
